Powder Coating
Our wood powder coating process uses a revolutionary technology that electrostatically adheres paint particles to a preheated medium density fiberboard (MDF) surface, resulting in a reliable, durable, and high-quality finish.
Our GEMA application system uses configurable guns to apply powder uniformly to all surfaces (up to 98% of overspray can be reclaimed and reused). The powder is then cured through exposure to temperatures exceeding 200 degrees Fahrenheit. These high temperatures cause the powder to reach its melting point in order to fuse and cross-link the powder particles to the wood. This thermal fusion, in turn, creates the seamless and long-lasting surface that t.fusion™ is known for.
We’ve also perfected the cooling process, resulting in faster temperature decrease which allows for rapid packaging or assembly of your components, thus maintaining our low lead times and quick turnaround.
There are many types of powder, including epoxy, acrylic, and polyester, each providing different aesthetics and performance features. We work collaboratively with our suppliers to create a formulation that suits your unique needs. This type of attention to detail sets us apart and ensures t.fusion™ is the best finish for your product.
